The vague plan for March
Eh? Where did February go? And before you say it, yes I know it’s the shortest month of the year!
February was a crazy month for me. The tail end of Thailand, followed by some crazy tubing, cave exploring, swimming in lagoons, kayaking and meeting an awesome group of people in Laos (plus we even did a bottle of vodka with some Irish girls at tenpin bowling ally, yeah I know, who would have thought bowling was THE thing to do in Luang Prabang, Laos on a night out?). Then we headed to Cambodia, where we had a mini bus crash, but seeing Angkor Wat, The Killing Fields, S21 and a floating village has definitely made that hair raising journey worthwhile.

The Kiliing Fields, so harrowing but definitely need to be visited
So my vague plan for March is still pretty much vague. There’s a surprise! It’s the first time since being out here I’ve sat down and looked at flights and that to see costs and what is doable, as I’ve not had to get any flights yet.
First part of March I’m going to be in Cambodia still. I love it out here! Siem Reap was amazing and would recommend everyone to visit the place. I’ve just moved onto Battambang today as I wanted to see a few places and then head south to the Cambodian islands. Everyone keeps saying how good Koh Rong is, so I’ll no doubt end up there (if you Google it you may hate me. Looks like paradise).

Just one of the many stunning temples at Angkor Wat
Then at some point, me and one of the guys I’m travelling with are going to head to either Myanmar (Burma), Philippines or Sri Lanka. Sadly this means saying goodbye to another great guy I’ve been travelling with for the last 6 weeks as he’s heading elsewhere, but that is unfortunately how travelling works, always saying goodbye to amazing people.

If you go kayaking in The 4000 Islands, don’t go with a hungover Dutch girl.
Philippines and Sri Lanka look to have some great SCUBA diving spots, as does Myanmar. So I may look to do my advance diving course and get a night dive under my belt too. Looking at a place in the Philippines I’ve found somewhere that does 3 fun dives and throws in lunch for less than £60. That’s bloody cheap for scuba diving (yes my new hobby is kinda expensive).
Nothing is of course booked (as that would just be boring and mean we have a deadline to stick to). However those countries could change at the last minute too, but they’re the top 3 places currently. I’m not overly fussed which one we do as I plan to the other 2 later on by myself.

A school that is in the middle of floating village on a lake
So yeah that’s pretty much it for March; Cambodia and another country. When you write it like that it kinda sounds boring, but I know that couldn’t be further from the truth. Now to ride a bamboo train in Battambang, Cambodia tomorrow! Hope I have better luck with this mode of transportation.

Dangerous = fun right?
Hahahaha mate you got me laughing out loud ???? You know you snapped that picture while we were waiting for the Dolphins to show up, hah! Which took too long and I fell a sleep????
Any ways, let March be the best March you ever had!;)
An outstanding share! I have just forwarded this onto a friend who has been conducting a little homework on this.
And he in fact bought me dinner due to the fact that I stumbled upon it for
him… lol. So let me reword this…. Thanks for the meal!!
But yeah, thanx for spending time to talk about this subject here on your site.
Very interesting subject, appreciate it for putting up.
